The Fairy Pools of Noosa & how to find them
We all know Noosa is a pretty amazing place to visit right? From stunning beaches through to breathtaking National Parks and delicious dining options, one is always spoilt for choice for things to do here. One of the most popular off-the-beaten track destinations in Noosa, is the "Fairy Pools" and is so hidden that it’s not on many official maps.

Don’t fret, this is the @discoverbrisbane official run-down on where and how to find the famous Fairy Pools of Noosa.
Preparation
Before you head off you need to be well-prepared. As you can see on the map, it’s roughly a 41 minute walk, of varying terrain. It may take longer depending on how long you stop to admire the scenery and views along the way. Have a water bottle, some snacks handy, wear comfortable shoes for walking, and sun protection. Try to go when the crowds aren’t there (weekends), or when it’s the peak midday sunshine as its way too hot, and try to visit when it’s low tide if possible so that both the pools are disconnected from the sea and way easier to make your way down to.

Step 1: From Main Beach to the start of the Coastal Track
Head to the beach entrance of Main Beach towards the Park Road end, and near Sails Restaurant. You’ll see the boardwalk sign that marks the start of the Coastal Track. Follow the sign that says “First Point National Park via Boardwalk”.

Step 2: Follow the boardwalk to the Noosa National Park Carpark
Follow the Coastal Track boardwalk along past First Point and Little Cove until you arrive at the Noosa National Park Carpark.

Step 3: Follow the Coastal Track towards Hell’s Gates
Keep walking as you go beyond the National Park carpark, the track becomes a little more rough, mostly dirt, rocks and sand. Keep walking along the track past Tea Tree and Granite Bays. At the far end of Granite Bay, you will notice a log bench as the track bends right around. Congratulations, the walking is done and it’s time to get to the fairy pools.

Step 4: Getting to the fairy pools
To get to the Fairy Pools, you will have to leave the track and make your way down the rocks to find the pools below. Be very careful, and ensure you have enough grip on your shoes, as well as be wary of how slippery the rocks may be. Now all you have to do is choose your fairy pool! Yes there’s two and enjoy!
