Visit the grand opening of Dandelion and Driftwood

When: Sunday 28th February, then operating 7 days a week.
Where: 20 Doncaster Street, Hendra Qld 4101

Considered a Queensland ‘institution’, the much-adored Dandelion & Driftwood (D&D) café is making its highly anticipated return to Hendra this Sunday! It’s a welcome return to Hendra after a short relocation to Brisbane International Airport, was short lived due to COVID-19. Lauded by the local community for 8 years, D&D fans will love the seven day a week trading, and now D&D is fully licenced. There’ll be many old favourites from their signature breakfast, lunch and fanfare high tea offerings, but adding a new twist with ‘After Dark’ (yes, cocktails and a sumptuous dinner menu Thursday to Saturday evenings).

They will also be serving Cake trolleys, exquisitely presented high teas, double decker food dishes for breakfast lunch and dinner where one deck is laden with savoury favourites while top deck features the D&D signature sweet waffle, along with coffee and tea tasting card for every curious and expressive customer, are just a few uniquely D&D charm specialities.

Some of the creative and delicious ‘After Dark’ cocktails making their debut on the D&D menu include clever twists on old favourites and all with quirky names honouring D&D or the local neighbourhood including Driftwood Martini, Pina Colada on Doncaster, D&D After Dark margarita and Hendra Mojito.
