Get ready to step into a winter wonderland right in the heart of Brisbane! This November, The Enchanted Garden returns to Roma Street Parkland, bringing an extraordinary light show experience that’s set to captivate visitors of all ages. From 22 November to 21 December 2024, this beloved event will transform the parkland into an illuminated festive landscape, perfect for a family outing, a romantic date, or a magical evening with friends.

Created by Brisbane-based lighting experts BCL Productions, The Enchanted Garden invites you to embark on An Enchanted Eve: A Garden of Mystical Marvels. This year’s experience follows a brand-new narrative featuring two mystical beings, Willow and Marigold, who guide visitors through a world of imaginative light displays and hidden surprises. As you stroll along the nearly 1-km trail, you’ll encounter shimmering fairy lights, glowing orbs, and captivating projections, all woven together to tell a magical story. With multiple zones and interactive elements, the self-guided journey takes about 30 to 40 minutes to complete—but feel free to wander at your own pace. The trail is wheelchair accessible, making it a festive experience for everyone.

Due to popular demand, this year’s Enchanted Garden will run for an extended 30-night season, including nightly “up-late” sessions. Sessions run every 15 minutes from 6:30 pm to 9:15 pm, with four types available: Early, Standard, Up Late, and Low Sensory, ensuring there’s an option for everyone to enjoy. For families and individuals who prefer a quieter experience, Low Sensory sessions are available at 6:30 pm every Tuesday and Wednesday.

The festivities don’t end with the lights! Head over to Celebration Lawn, where food trucks and a licensed bar will serve up delicious treats and drinks from 5 pm daily. It’s the perfect way to fuel up before your journey or unwind afterward.

Tickets go on sale at 9 am AEST on Friday, 8 November 2024. At just $9 for adults (13+), $7 for children (ages 3–12), and free entry for kids under two, this affordable event is a must-see this Christmas season. Group tickets are also available, with a family of four priced at $30 and a family of five at $36.
