Well done Brisbane. You’ve just added another reason for locals to staycay and travellers to visit, with the newest 5-star hotel, dining, and lifestyle destination, Hotel X. The recently launched hotel is set to light up the night in the centre of Fortitude Valley and is InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) and Queensland-based developers Pointcorp first Hotel X anywhere in the world.

Located in the heart of Brunswick Street, the hotel’s convenient location to all of Brisbane’s vibrant destinations is complemented by it’s unmissable and distinctive white geometric facade which is illuminated by custom lighting. The hotel offers up premium facilities and celebrates the eclectic Fortitude Valley through ultra-chic art, and exceptional views of the cityscape.

The 146 room Hotel, with suites (that range in size from standard king rooms to a lavish corner terrace) feature appliances from GHD and Dyson, as well as eye-catching amenities designed by high fashion icon Karl Lagerfeld. Guests at Hotel X will also be given access to an expansive gymnasium, concierge valet, room service and an event function space.

What’s more, the folk behind Donna Chang, Blackbird Bar & Grill, Boom Boom Room, Byblos, is set to open up two new dining concepts, for the ground floor restaurant and bar, as well as the rooftop poolside restaurant.
