MICA Brasserie has opened and it's also a delectable bakery you'll come back for
The home of Mercedes-Benz Brisbane at the Breakfast Creek Lifestyle Precinct is also the home of a new dining destination, MICA Brasserie. An all-in-one Boulangerie, Patisserie, Bar & Bistro.
MICA forms part of the lifestyle precinct’s range of unique dining and function options which includes a highly anticipated rooftop restaurant and bar. All of this is part of Shannon and Clare Kellam’s grand plans (the culinary duo behind Montrachet, and King Street Bakery), whose operations and vision will extend to a cooking school with an attached private dining room, once everything is completed. For now though, due to the Corona Virus trading restrictions, it’s all about the bakery and patisserie!
The chic artisan European style bakery which overlooks the Breakfast Creek, is open for takeaway, offering a mouth-watering selection of freshly baked baguettes, pies, eclairs, croissants and other sweet treats.
Customers can also get a freshly brewed cup of coffee to accompany their baked goods and pastries, and then enjoy a beautiful walk along the promenade. A definite must-try, and it may surprise you, is their utterly delicious leek and chicken pies, especially if you’re needing something a little more substantial to fill that hungry belly.
