Brisbane Laneways could always do with a few more venues, so it is with great joy that multifaceted venue Miss Demeanour down in Rowes Lane Brisbane City has opened.

Formerly the site of Sonny’s House of Blues, Miss Demeanour is brought to you by the good people behind other popular laneway hang-out Brew Cafe and Wine Bar.

“Miss D” is a cafe by day (and restaurant), serving breakfast, lunch and dinner options, but by evening, will become a buzzing late night bar just like its sister venue. The 130 seat establishment has retained a lot of what Sonny’s had, with a few additions and enhancements.

The menu appears to offer something for everyone with the morning crowd in for coffee by Louie Louie Roasters, and options like “Shroom Bagels”, Waffles, as well as classic Eggs Benedict. Lunch and Dinner ranges from burgers, salads, pork belly, as well as share options like chicken wings. At night, the after-work crowd will have a selection of cocktails, wines and craft beer from the likes of Balter, Stone & Wood, Sailors Grave Brewing and much more.

Where: Rowes Lane, (Laneway between Rowes Arcade and Commonwealth Bank in the Edward St, Brisbane)

Open now daily from 7am - 12am, except Fridays and Saturday (until 3am).
