The secret's out. Why everyone is rushing to Tingalpa for Greek cuisine at its best!
Lemoni Greek Cuzina in Tingalpa, Brisbane’s eastern suburbs, is proof that you don’t have to travel far for the most authentic flavours of Greece and the Mediterranean. The menu is packed with recipes made with fresh local ingredients, from traditional home-style recipes, to more contemporary versions of Greek food. What’s more, is that there are also gluten free, dairy free, vegetarian and vegan options available. It’s true, once you’ve visited, you’ll be reminiscing of the food that brought “enjoyment to your belly, heart and soul”. (Cover photo by Lemoni Greek Cuzina)
Hand painted murals of Greek gods dominate restaurant walls and if you’re here on the right night, you’ll catch live belly dancing to add to the lively family-friendly and fun atmosphere.
You can start your greek culinary journey with anything from fresh pita with a variety of dips, to fried calamari or Spanakopita (spinach and feta pie) or the ever popular Saganaki (pan fried cheese with fresh lemon and oregano) as well as zucchini fritters, or the Manitari (baked mushrooms, stuffed with spinach and silver beet, topped with crumbled fetta).
There are the well known classics on offer such as the Gyros, Souvlakis, Moussakas, but you may choose platters, if there’s a few of you. Like their Santorini Platter for 2 of mixed meat, vegetables, and seafood, such as prawns, souvlaki, greek salad, calamari, halloumi, spanakopita, and pita bread.
But if you’re a larger group, you can leave it up to the friendly owner, who is more than happy to recommend the best possible combinations for maximum enjoyment.
From the moment you step in, the warm welcome, the exemplary service, through to the most flavoursome and masterfully crafted greek food, you will not be disappointed with Lemoni Greek Cuzina.
