Watch your favourite Disney Movies this weekend at a Drive-in Theatre
Like Most people we’ve all been keeping safe from the comfort of home watching streaming sites. But sometimes it’s nice to get out and see a movie on a big screen. Now that restrictions have eased, what better way to enjoy the cinemas, than to check out the Disney Drive-in Open Air Cinemas at Brisbane’s North Shore by the river. Showcasing a program of Disney Favourites, this is your last weekend to see some of those amazing classics.

Take your 4-legged pooch to Barktoberfest
Feeling blessed and paw-obsessed! Your favourite anni-fur-sary is back and everyone is getting ready to raise the woof at Carseldine Markets once again. On Saturday, October 24th between 6am and noon the markets are celebrating man’s best friend at the ever-popular Barktoberfest.There’ll be plenty on offer to keep those tails wagging at this year's event, with fur-bulous live entertainment, pawtastic stalls, and gourmet food (for pets and people) a plenty! Can we get a paw yeah?!

Celebrate Brisbane's creative designers at the inaugural BFM Accessory Market at West Village
Participating labels include Boho Luxe, Birdee & Star, MINIM, Soul Silk, Mare De Vetro and Rebellious Grace. The markets are part of the month-long fashion festival celebrating a showcase of local Queensland designers. With radiant runway shows, fabulous forums and more, Brisbane Fashion Month spotlights the best of Queensland’s emerging designers, sustainable fashion labels and industry superstars.

See some incredible Sculptures by the River
Queensland’s best sculptors will celebrate the Brisbane River’s rich history with a spectacular showcase of local art as part of Sculpture by the River 2020. Work from more than 34 artists will be displayed both in an indoor and outdoor exhibition alongside the Brisbane River, presented by Sculptors Queensland. Sculptors Queensland President, Joanne Bullock-Saxton said the mix of traditional and contemporary sculptures on display will feature artist interpretations of the cultural history, flora and fauna of the local Northshore area with a key focus on the Brisbane River.
