X Marks the Spot. Brisbane's newest and world's first Hotel X.

Well done Brisbane. You’ve just added another reason for locals to staycay and travellers to visit, with the newest 5-star hotel, dining, and lifestyle destination, Hotel X. The recently opened hotel is set to light up the night in the centre of Fortitude Valley and is InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) and Queensland-based developers Pointcorp’s, first Hotel X anywhere in the world.

Fortitude Valley has a new collective of bars led by the heritage refurbishment and renaming of The Prince Consort in Wickham Street. More recently known as The Elephant Arms Hotel, The Prince Consort as it was originally named, is the famed gathering place that has fed, watered, and kept the secrets of all who ventured through since 1888, and now, thanks to new owners Tilley & Wills Hotels, it will once again take its rightful place on Brisbane’s centre stage.
